The night of 21 de Diciembre fue una de esas noches que se quedan grabadas en el corazón para siempre. Volver a mi ciudad natal, singing at home and doing it for a cause as beautiful as the construction of a cultural center was simply indescribable. See them arrive, hear them sing and cry with me, receiving every applause in every song reminded me why I love music so much. Thank you for filling that space with love, of emotion and hope. I felt at home, surrounded by my people, celebrating the music that unites us and represents us. Thanks for believing, for supporting and showing that together we can build art and culture.

The Cultural Association Friends of Art Song and Poetry A.C..
The “Cultural Association Friends of Art, Song, and Poetry A.C.”, was founded in the year 2014 with enthusiasm and interest in the fine arts through a notarial act and duly registered with Foreign Affairs. In the early days, the Association only sang with 5 Founding members, some of whom have already passed away. Currently, there are 18 members including women, men, and youth. It is a non-profit Cultural Association, the objectives are fully stipulated in our bylaws as an Association aimed at the community, to rescue, promote, and showcase the different branches of art in our region. Activities and events have been held such as Christmas concerts, participation in the forum of the fair in 23 July, participación y audición en la “Casa del abuelo”, actuación en el aniversario de Jubilados del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, actuaciones en las fiestas patronales de las Colonias Santa Rosa, El Calvario, Esquipulas, Agencia La Junta y Rancho Reyes de la Ciudad de. Huajuapan de león. De los proyectos que se tienen a corto plazo es la construcción de un Auditorio Cultural, con la finalidad de presentar diferentes tipos de eventos exposiciones de arte, conferencias audiciones musicales y danzas regionales; asi mismo hemos estado llevando a cabo actividades como rifas, Domingos pozoleros con música en vivo, con el objeto de recaudar fondos para la construcción del Auditorio.
